LAPA Charitable
Gift Guide
| After ten years of providing successful community-based
fundraising services, Laurence A. Pagnoni & Associates
(LAPA) is pleased to announce The
LAPA Charitable Gift Guide (CGG). In this comprehensive
directory, LAPA profiles high-performing, often under-recognized,
usually under-resourced nonprofit organizations for
use by prospective major donors. The purpose of the
CGG is to increase the number of major donors to smaller
nonprofit organizations by working with “wealth managers”--
professionals who work with individuals of high net
worth. |

“The launch of our Charitable Gift Guide allows LAPA to generate
significant revenue for emerging nonprofits,” says Laurence A.
Pagnoni, President of LAPA. “The guide promotes the development
of small, yet high-performing nonprofits, and expands their philanthropy
network. This is also a new and innovative way to accelerate the
impact of progressive social change in the sector, allowing social
entrepreneurs to secure the funds they need for their important
work.”
LAPA has built (and seeks to expand) a network of financial planners,
tax attorneys, insurance agents and private bankers, to increase
charitable giving to investment-worthy nonprofit organizations.
LAPA’s current network of wealth professionals is about 50 people
strong; all of whom are committed to guiding their clients in
identifying quality organizations in which to invest their charitable
contributions. Over the past five years, this network has generated
$1M in individual contributions to organizations highlighted in
the CGG. “New wealth managers or individuals of high-net worth
who hear of the guide are welcome to contact us. We need your
help,” said Mr. Pagnoni. “We are trying to build a wealth bridge
between those of means who want to see good happen in the world,
and those nonprofit leaders who have solid programs but lack the
necessary capital.”
While there is no fee for an organization to be listed in the
CGG, there is a nominal fee ($100) to cover the twice a year printing
and clerical costs and, when an organization receives funds, a
set fee is incurred.
